She enjoys being able to mix and match different designs and even personalizes necklaces for those she gives as "gifts" (I put gifts in quotes, because her 'clientele' usually have to give them back after wearing them just a few minutes lol. Promising review: "I bought this for my 3-year-old niece. Definitely a great beginner drone!" - Tiffany I definitely think it's a great way for kiddos to learn how to navigate a drone without breaking the bank. I believe you can also make the drone flip and do other cool tricks, but I haven't gotten there yet. It was a pretty great feeling once I got the hang of the drone and heard those propellers start to whirl as the drone prepared for flight. The controller that comes with it is simple to use. This one - with the bright lights and unique colors - is comparable (on a lesser standard), and looks amazing in the dark! That's what drew me to the drone anyway - the neon blue and green colors! It takes awhile to charge, but the drone itself comes with two batteries, getting you around 10–15 minutes per charge. I know some people who spend hundreds of dollars on drones. I bought it as a gift for my niece, but I had to take it out and play with it a few times as I've never handled a drone before. ![]() Like being paid 1/3 of the fee Handy bills the customer, while doing ALL the physical work? Want to be "fined" $50 if you cancel a job, but paid $15 if the customer does? Want to spend an hour unpacking a pressboard Wayfair furniture kit with 60 unlabeled/un numbered parts? That you then need to assemble with poor/illegible/inaccurate instructions? In the time allowed by Handy? (Which is typically 50% of the time you NEED?)Įnjoy working with some of the cheapest, poorly manufactured "furniture" out there? Stuff that falls apart and rips fittings out while being "built"? Many times I have been booked for jobs 40, 60, even 96 miles from my house. The other major issue is the size of the service area. Apparently in a metropolitan area of 2.5 million people, no one has posted a job in the last 24 hours. I have probably complained about this too much. I know for a fact that on three of the jobs, Handy sent the customer telling them a "scheduling conflict has occurred" and tells the customer what time the handy man will come. If I do bring this to Handy's attention, then several of my upcoming jobs suddenly "the customer has edited the job and you were removed". Lastly, because we have to email them for everything it helps you to see how incompetent some of them are especially with simple definitions like f. That means I was only getting 10% to 20% of what they charge clients. I had one client who showed me he was billed by Handy $700 to have a gazebo put together but wanted to pay me $70 to do the job. I've had several clients show me that Handy charge them several hundred dollars but only paid me $20, $40 or $50.
